Safety light curtain transmitter
MLC 510/MLC 520
The basic model MLC 510 from the MLC 500 safety light curtain series already has a wide temperature range of -30 to +55°C as well as channel switching and reducible operating range to ensure that adjacent machines operate reliably. Models with AS-i interface or protection class IP 67/69K are also available. The MLC 520 devices additionally have a start/restart interlock (RES) and contactor monitoring (EDM) and are also available as cascadable models. All MLC devices can be configured via pin assignments. This saves time and money when commissioning and ensures error‑free configuration.
MLC safety light curtains
The safety light curtains of the MLC series are available as type 4 and type 2 models that meet all requirements when it comes to resolution, protective field height and operating range. With four function classes, the robust and compact devices perform a wide variety of guarding tasks, from standard applications to controlled special safeguarding, e.g. with blanking function. Furthermore, variants with cascading, extra slim design, EX marking and protection class IP 69K offer tailor‑made solutions for special application cases. Smart Process Gating offers a space-saving alternative for access guarding on conveyor lines: this function requires no muting sensors.
